Moscow Calling

Recently went to Moscow and did some sight-seeing.

This is the best time to visit Moscow, where temperatures are between 2-10 degrees Celsius.
The weather is not very cold now, but when the wind blows, it is still very chilly.

Moscow is the most expensive city to live in now. Food prices are crazy.

If you are thinking about visiting the Russian capital, do bring along lots of US dollars, as you have to change to Roubles over there. No Sing dollar accepted.

It would be good if you know a bit of Russian, as most people do not speak a word of English, and the signages look very alien.

One expression I learnt from the tour guide was, Thank you is pronounced as Spicy Bar in Russian.

Below are pictures taken at Red Square, in the Kremlin and armory, as well as some nice underground train stations

Enjoy!

The interior of a train station. Everything is in marble...Communism money used wisely...

Authentic Russian Bourse soup, with bread. Shiok ah....

Biggest canon in the world. The original '大炮仙'

This is not a mosque. On the contrary, it's a cathedral of the orthodox church

The Kremlin, the view from afar

We were asking them to take photos for us. Their understanding of English is so bad that they jumped into the picture with us...haha, just kidding

This is the venue of the Champions League Final this year, where stupid Liverpool won't be playing...haha...

The night view of Red Square

This is actually Moscow's oldest shopping mall, 100 years old
