This post is a bit off schedule as I just came back from reservist.
I was in Amsterdam, Holland, during 5th May.
I love tulips and what better way to see it than at Keukenhof.
This place is unique as it only opens for 2 months a year, between Mar to May. It has a large variety of tulips, in all sorts of colour. I think I was fortunate enough to be able to catch it during the season.
However, when I touched down in Amsterdam, it was raining. It was the sort of rain that last for the whole day.
Due to some miscommunication with the concierge who booked our tour, we missed the bus. Instead of being helpful, the hotel staff berated us for being late. After satisfied with dampening our mood and kicking us when we fell down, he told us to rush to the tour agent's office. However, he gave us very vague instructions and we didn't managed to find it right away. To make things worse, the rain kept pouring.
Fortunately, after a turn of events and running from one street to another in the rain, we managed to find the pickup point.
Below are the photos I took despite getting drenched...:-) enjoy
